Then embarking on campaign in 1729, displaying sheer strategic and tactical military brilliance to win a series of astonishing victories to dislodge the Afghan Hotaks from their occupation of Iran. Returning Tahmasp to his rightful place, but in service to Nader, the Shah in all but name.
